Context on one of our filters
We have added filters for adoptee and trans authors if they have self-identified publicly. This is by no means a comprehensive list and if we find out that an author no longer identifies as such, we will adjust accordingly.

More information about the current state of the database
As of January 2023, all of the books on site are readily accessible by U.S. audiences. We have not yet included books translated from Korean as we're primarily focused on diaspora authors at this time.
